Marlin’s Reminiscing Their World Series Trophy Win

Thanks to a loan from the former Marlins owner and MArtin County resident, H. Wayne Huizenga, the 1997 World Series Trophy won by the Marlins will be on display at The Elliott Museum which boasts awards that date back to the 1800s. Some of these ancient awards include autographed equipment from the greats ranging from Babe Ruth to Joe DiMaggio to Don Larsen.

Some of the recent museum visitors were shocked, surprised and delighted to get up close and personal with the extravagant baseball trophy that isn’ t protected in anything; not glass nor plastic.
